What's the NOW
PAC?
The
Illinois NOW Political Action Committee (PAC) is composed of members and officers of Illinois
NOW. The "PAC" endorses candidates for state office and recommends
national candidates to the National NOW PACs for endorsement
"To
earn our full endorsement is no easy task," said Chair Bonnie Grabenhofer.
"Candidates need to support our issues including reproductive
rights, economic justice, pay equity, civil rights for all people
including equal marriage, and preventing violence against women."
PAC Facts
The IL NOW PAC bases its endorsements on candidate
responses to questionnaires, interviews and/or experience with
candidates, and chapter recommendations.
Questionnaires are sent to all candidates for
state and national office.

candidate that the local chapter does not support.
